Pontchartrain Pete and I will be out again to get the pics of the remaining fleurs once we can do it without melting in this obnoxious heat. We'll post about it when the final pics are added.
Thanks for posting this on your blog. That is where I found it! I am not super familiar with the street names of the city. Are they all in the downtown area within walking distance of one another? I wouldn't mind mapping them out and taking a tour of the statues.
They are mainly downtown and in the French Quarter. Problem is that a few are inside buildings. And at the time, the ones that had been at the fund raising golf tournament had not yet been relocated around the city (but it looks like they have now). It was like a scavenger hunt when we went looking for them--part of the fun!
