My five-year old posed that question to me today. I told her I didn't know but would find out. So what is your answer. Be practicial, witty, serious, by the book, off the wall. Whatever! Let's hear what you would say!
I've been hanging out with Kris Kringle at my Miracle on 34th Street rehearsals. I'll ask him (warning, I have a strong suspicion he voted for Obama! but you know, of course I would expect that of him anyways, being such a wise and generous and peace loving man)
Well, I gave my mom (who voted for McCain) The Audacity Of Hope by President-Elect Obama and wrote on the tag, “From the Democratic Santa.” So I guess I would say that Santa votes! But I wonder how many electoral votes the North Pole would get?
My first thought is that Santa does not vote in our elections because I never thought of him as an American citizen. For some reason, I always think of him as German or Scandinavian. :)

I would say "no" because Santa couldn't choose one person over another. :-)
In which elections? I don't think he's eligible for US elections with the North Pole address and all.
I bet that he leaves "voters" an extra present under the tree though.
The first thing that popped into my head when she asked was, "I bet if you ask ACORN he does." He he!

My friend Brandi emailed me this response:
